Be WiSE and Show Your Support on May 9

Burbank, IL – April 21, 2008 – The Queen of Peace Women in Science and Engineering Alum Association invite the community to its inaugural networking and fundraising event on May 9 at the Illinois Institute of Technology McCormick Ballroom, 3201 S. State Street. The $35 ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres, spirits and soft drinks.

At the event, guests will be able to network with Peace alum, faculty and guests in the fields of math and science and buy chances to win the coolest tech must haves. Guests also will meet and view presentations by the students in Peace’s new pre-engineering program, The Infinity Project.

As both a networking and fundraising event, this WiSE Event will support a second-year expansion of The Infinity Project at Peace, allowing more students to continue using cutting-edge technology to think, act, and design like real engineers.
