Volunteer Opportunities

Download a Parent Volunteer Form to see all the ways you can get involved. Fill it out and return to the main office or email it as an attachment to formican@queenofpeacehs.org.

Booster Parents

Any parent or guardian with a daughter on an athletic team is automatically a Booster Parent. Opportunities for involvement include attending meetings, participating in booster-sponsored activities, and working home athletic events. For more information about how to become a Booster Parent, contact Athletic Director Darlene Graf at 708.458.7600, ext. 236 or email grafd@queenofpeacehs.org.

Academic Guidance and Support

From the time that you and your daughter choose Peace for her high school experience, you participate in course selection and are kept apprised of her academic progress. The dean and counselors work closely with you and your daughter throughout her four-year Peace experience. Events such as Back to School Night and Catholic Schools Week invite you to become a part of Peace.

Spiritual and Moral Support

Parents work with Peace to ensure that the mission is lived out on a daily basis. Each year there are opportunities, such as the Easter Basket Project and the Family Mass, for parents and daughters to share prayer and service.

Lifelong Planning

Parents are invited to attend Parent Visitation Morning, Financial Aid Presentation, College Night, and College Resource Nights.

Social Events

Parents are encouraged to join their daughters for the annual Father-Daughter Dance and the Mother-Daughter Brunch.

Why Peace Matters

As the leading Catholic Dominican high school in the nation for women, Queen of Peace educates and empowers young women to think critically and use their voices. When you invest in Peace, you invest in the next generation of leaders.

If you have questions about any giving method, call the development offices at 708.458.7600, ext. 250.
