Private Bus Service
Queen of Peace and St. Laurence provide bus service through Sunrise Transportation. The cost for the 2010-11 school year is $1,200. Private bus routes are determined each year by ridership. For more information, call (708) 458-7600, Ext. 228.

Reavis Bus Service
Queen of Peace students who live within the boundaries of Reavis High School District 220 (Burbank) and Stickney Township are eligible for free or reduced-price bus service: students who live more than 1.5 miles away can register for free service; those within 1.5 miles can register for service for a $100 fee.

Public Transportation – Pace and CTA Routes
Additional routes and information are available on the CTA and Pace Bus Websites: www.transitchicago.com or www.pacebus.com.

  • PACE

    Pace Routes 379 & 384 pick up students at the Midway Orange Line Station, progress south on Cicero to 79th Street, continue west on 79th Street to Central Avenue. 
  • Pace Route 379 picks students up at Moraine Valley College, continues north on 88th Avenue to 79th Street, progresses east on 79th Street to Central Avenue. 
  • Pace Route 381 operates on 95th Street between Kean and Ashland Avenues. Students may use this route to connect with Pace 382 for direct service to the Queen of Peace parking lot. 
  • Pace Route 382 picks up students at the Midway Orange Line Station, progresses south on Cicero to 73rd Street, continues west on 73rd Street to Central Avenue, continues south on Central Avenue to the Queen of Peace parking lot. 
  • Pace Route 382 picks up students at 104th & Pulaski, continues down 103rd Street to Central Avenue, progresses north to 77th and Central. 
  • Pace Route 383 picks students up at the Oak Forest Metra Station at 159th & Cicero, continues north on Cicero to 103rd Street. Students then connect to the above-mentioned Pace Route 382. 
  • Pace Route 384 picks students up at Orland Square, travels north to Palos Hospital, east to Trinity Christian College, continues north on Ridgeland Avenue to 79th Street, east to Central Avenue. 
  • Pace Route 385 picks students up at the Blue Island train station, progresses west on 127th Street to Harlem, continues north to 79th Street. Students then connect to the above-mentioned Pace Route 379 to Central Avenue.

CTA

Students may access the CTA Orange Line train into Midway Station and connect with the 54-B or Pace 382 bus lines for direct service to the Queen of Peace parking lot.

CTA Route 54-B is a direct route into the Queen of Peace parking lot. The route originates at 26th & Cicero, progresses south on Cicero to 73rd Street, continues west on 73rd Street to Central Avenue, continues south on Central Avenue to the Queen of Peace parking lot. This route runs at special times, on specially marked busses, in the morning and afternoon.

CTA Route 79th Street is a direct route into the Queen of Peace parking lot. This route originates at the Chicago Lakefront, progresses west on 79th Street to Central Avenue, and continues north to the Queen of Peace parking lot. This route runs at special times, on specially marked busses, in the morning and afternoon.
