Wireless Network

The Peace campus is wireless, allowing access to the World Wide Web at any time in all classrooms. Printing stations and facilities for laptop recharging have been established. Network security remains a high priority. The wireless network includes Internet content filtering and firewalls designed to create a secure learning environment. Students continue to have network user accounts and are given QOP e-mail accounts, which they are to use responsibly and ethically. Students are responsible for making sure their files are backed up to the network or to their own flash drives. Classroomsare equipped with a ceiling-mounted overhead projection unit, and Peace complies to the policies of being a "green" and environmentally friendly school. For example, our printing monitoring system (which controls quotas) and the brand of paper used are deemed "green" compliant.
