Peace Dancers Take the Stage

Burbank, IL – February 20, 2008 – On Jan. 25 and 26, the Peace Dance Company performed Take the Stage, a show featuring many types of dance, including ballet, jazz, tap, Latin, hip-hop, lyrical and modern. A student-run show, Take the Stage was organized and choreographed by the 63 Peace performers themselves, with the support of teachers and moderators Ms. Heidi Hansen and Ms. Katie Klitsch. “Students practiced 4 or 5 days a week and after many months of practice, the show was a huge success, bringing nearly 1,000 people to Queen of Peace. The multiple talents of these girls are amazing,” Peace dance company moderator Heidi Hansen said. Pictured here senior Tiara Crusoe (front), junior Leticia Rangel (left), and frosh Sydney Hardwick (back right) perform the jazz dance Mission: Impossible.
