Start Engineering your Future Now!
Ever wonder what engineers actually do? As the first all-girls school in Illinois to implement this nationally recognized program, Peace will show you how engineers design and build in The Infinity Project. Peace students who have completed one lab science can participate. With cutting-edge technology, you’ll take math and science concepts to a whole new level as you design a variety of new technologies that focus on the Internet, cell phones, electronic music, digital video, and movie effects.
This course will improve students’ technical literacy, increase the number of students pursing engineering degrees in college, and create educational and economic opportunities for young women. More
Earn College Credit while in High School
Peace’s partnership with Moraine Valley Community College allows students a small choice of general education courses at Peace. If you earn an A or B in the designated course, you will receive college credit. Upon graduation, you can transfer this credit to the more than 100 participating Illinois colleges and universities. You’re not even required to attend MVCC after high-school graduation in order to take advantage of the credit. With this earned credit, you could have the opportunity to explore new and exciting subject areas in college.
