Leadership

Student Council

Student Council centers on maintaining open channels of communication within the school and community and acts as a service link between the administration, faculty and students. By organizing activities for all Queen of Peace students, the council provides opportunities for students to foster student leadership skills. The council officers consist of six elected executive posts. Other members include class level senators, elected officers, and a National Honor Society representative. Opportunities to be part of committees: Spirit Committee, Community Building Committee, and Public Relations Committee.

Class Councils

Students at each class level elect officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer) and homeroom reps plan service projects and dances for their class.

Peer Mediation

Peer Mediation is a confidential process for resoloving conflicts. Participants have the opportunity to talk through their conflicts with the help of trained student leaders/mediators.

Why Peace Matters

As the leading Catholic Dominican high school in the nation for women, Queen of Peace educates and empowers young women to think critically and use their voices. When you invest in Peace, you invest in the next generation of leaders.
